How we work

To carry out the work we do at the centre - we know we can't do it alone - we collaborate closely with others, whether they be local residents, staff, or local organisations - to help us continually shape and improve our services.

Providing the right services is important to us so our board members are made up of people who also represent the local community. They help to influence the future direction of the centre with local people in mind.

Our objectives for the centre are to:

• support the development of diverse communities
• enhance quality of life
• promote social inclusion
• provide high quality services that meet customer needs
• ensure staff and users actively engage in promoting equal opportunities
• work in partnership with others to meet the needs of diverse communities

The range of activities, events and projects at the centre aim to provide opportunities for personal, social and economic development such as direct employment, volunteering and training.
